::This story is contained a new universe, where some names from other pieces may be repeated. In this story two satyrs discover things about each other despite a tumult of emotions surrounding both their pasts.::

Her goat-like hooves drummed the ground as she waited. Would he even show? She was still nervous as hell. After her inordinately bad break up with Landin, who was no longer even among the living, so far as she could tell, it was a shock to feel the fluttering in her chest, and the butterflies in her stomach and…well, quite frankly, other parts, as well, for Aristaven. Ari, as he was more commonly called, was just…dear gods, he was gorgeous. The long dark auburn curls that went to the middle of his back, the perfectly placed, exquisitely shaped horns… She just couldn’t. Her own red spring-like curls made a delightful contrast to his, and her own horns, even if they flared out more than some said they should… she couldn’t help forming a delightfully wonderful picture in her head. But…dammit, he had to show first.

Good luck

I will leave this open until Monday at noon. Please come by and prompt.

With COVID-19 you might be seeing smaller prompt calls; we do not do boredom well. I will try to keep thiese to 500 words. I'm borrowing from a few friends of mine with the following: You boost, I add another 100 words. My price is 1 penny per word for the time being; so a 500 word story would be $5.

All Is fair in Love and Powder
Word count (Story only)1030
This story was inspired by a prompt from [personal profile] fuzzyred and sponsored by [profile] rnb_capricorn with my deepest thanks.

“Stop, stop, stop!” Jasmine was squealing, but not really loud enough to be heard more than a few feet with all the other county fair noise going on. In front of she and dell were the remains of a funnel cake. The ice cream had long since been eaten, and was dried in colorful fashion on their lips. Despite this, Jasmine did not look at all pleased.

There is this Hallmark Holiday: Valentines Day.
This prompt call is now closed. Thank you for your time and attention.
I am honoring in an unusual way. Instead of 'love' (or maybe in addition to)

How about we shine a light on "the more unusual relationships." and also "Unequ3e traditions"

They can be anything from blending traditions from other cultures, to people having relationships that not many think are valid, such as aromantic ones, or people who are happier with their relationship with their pets than people. Go so far as to even say that a child can spend a Valentines day with their parent...

Throw things at me; make me work. :d

I will try to keep these to 500 words, and will steal from some fellow writers and say that each signal boost will add an extra 100 words.

This prompt call will be open until midnight or so on Tuesday, as I have put this one up much later than planned.

I have written a total of 9213 words over the course of the last four days. (Friday through today.) A total of 13 pieces spanning three places; 2 original, and one written in with permission.
I had several new prompters:
[profile] kaera_ash, one annonomous, [personal profile] shadowdreamer, and [personal profile] book_worm5 I am not sure of another, [personal profile] fuzzyred so I'll put them up here as a 'maybe.' ETA: 'maybe has turned into a 'yes; definitely a new prompter.

All prompters who submitted multiple prompts got multiple pieces because I got caught up in the thrill of writing. 2 have gone up. The rest are Unsold and are:

I go flop now. ... Oh wait I just had caffeine. Never mind.

I feel like the single most bad-ass writer right now, though. This is the most I've written fiction wise in years. Literally. \o/

We can see now how crowdfunded writers can stack up words in the millions in a single year. Before this weekend, we didn't think it was possible. This...this singular experience has completely redefined that notion for us. :) *big, wide grin*

...

And I would do this again. In a literal heartbeat. So much fun!

Kendle picked up the phone, and immediately winced in sympathy for whoever was calling her. She hadn’t had chance to see the number, so she didn’t know exactly who it was, ‘xcept for that it was someone on the ‘safe’ list, because it had gotten through the emergency settings.

Hello there.

Ending the new year and beginning a new one is always an exciting, daunting, and altogether new process. It is often filled with

Limetless Possibuilities

This is the theme for this end of year prompt fest thaqt will run from now until 3:00 AM (Or perhaps a tad bit later...) on the first day of the new year.

There is no word limit for this prompt, except for that it will *not* be a drabble.

Come one, com all, fill the last few days of the year with ideas. Perhaps it will spring the creative juices into gear for the coming year.
There are several stories up for grabs. These four are from the few Sunday Six challenges we have placed up to whet people's appitites. Due to the fact we need a small bit of extra cash, and we believe people should be rewarded for said contributions, we are placing these up for sponsorship.

These are, in alphabetical order as follows:

Bleepin' Blizards, 1 part, buy it now=$13
A snow rescue very nearly goes south. Story contains nonsuicidal thoughts of death; happy ending assured, though!
Dancing blades, and Evening shades, 1 part, buy it now=$9 A sparring lessons sparks a lifelong friendship.
Ocean of Pasta, 1 part, buy it now=$7
A couple's pasta date turns into an unexpected mess. Story contains a bit of H/C
Pocket conversations, 1 part, buy it now=$8
A mage helps a troubled teen work through a difficult situation.

This is enoug, I think, to start. If all of these are sponsored, therewill be more; happy holidays for those who celebrate.

It was there tenth anniversary. The bakers they had hired promised something special. The ballroom they had rented had been used for the same tea party Shaela and Jasmine had been to just a week ago, and was now decked out in asexual pride paraphernalia.

The clear crystal tea cups clinked into their matching saucers as Shaela and Jasmine let out their laughter at the same time. They were dressed in victorian teatime wear, The ballroom in which they were seated was filled with that era's decorations, men in fancy suits, and girls in tea gowns.

This opinion piece is written as an opinion on the different types of intelligence. I hope you enjoy. Written for the Terramagne universe with permission.
( Whales be as people to me. )

What follows is the translation written by the character living with the prior; this is set to be on the facing page of whatever newsprint this article is placed.
( Whales are people too. )

Notes:
Jacob McKenna is the name Jay has picked to go by in Terramagne for legal purposes; Jay is what a lot of his crew/street people call him: Bluejay is his 'capename'. Bluesplayer is his Black!sheep handle, whenever that becomes necessary.

Phela:
Her name is actually Phaline Phela; she prefers to go by her last name, though. She is just figuring out that she is not as "normal" as she thought she was, and is having a little bit of a hard time with this. (Anything else would be spoilers!) She is totally blind, as well, so is learning to get around a new place and new house; Jacob is the only person, so far, she knows well enough to trust.

(Questions will be answered in later stories; watch this space.)
