In front of she and dell were the remains of a funnel cake. The ice cream had long since been eaten, and was dried in colorful fashion on their lips. The clear crystal tea cups clinked into their matching saucers as Shaela and Jasmine let out their laughter at the same time. They were dressed in victorian teatime wear, The ballroom in which they were seated was filled with that era's decorations, men in fancy suits, and girls in tea gowns.

There was a trick to it, she knew, this season. She picked up her brush and began to paint. It was odd, this painting with your eyes closed, but Jasmine wanted to try it. The body she was nearing on occasion was blind, and she had often wondered what it would be like to be that way, if only for a moment in time.
