As it is within the 8 o'clock hour here in Indiana (in the evening() and we had originally meant to post this yesterday...

We are holding a prompt call titled Aces and eights (8's)

This particular prompt call will be dealing with inything with risk involved. (And yes, this could include gambling)

This prompt call will run pretty much through the week )the intent is for it to end on either thursday or Friday, depending on the number of prompters.

I will also take a page out of dialectic dreamer's book:
you may submit a new prompt each day.

As we are usually even-numberede writers, your defaut length will be anywhere betwen 500-600 words, with an extra 100 for boosting the signaal on whatever platform(s) you choose.

With COVID-19 you might be seeing smaller prompt calls; we do not do boredom well. I will try to keep thiese to 500 words. I'm borrowing from a few friends of mine with the following: You boost, I add another 100 words. My price is 1 penny per word for the time being; so a 500 word story would be $5.

I have written a total of 9213 words over the course of the last four days. (Friday through today.) A total of 13 pieces spanning three places; 2 original, and one written in with permission.
I had several new prompters:
kaera_ash, one annonomous, shadowdreamer, and book_worm5 I am not sure of another, fuzzyred so I'll put them up here as a 'maybe.' ETA: 'maybe has turned into a 'yes; definitely a new prompter.

All prompters who submitted multiple prompts got multiple pieces because I got caught up in the thrill of writing. 2 have gone up. The rest are Unsold and are:

I feel like the single most bad-ass writer right now, though. This is the most I've written fiction wise in years. Literally. \o/

We can see now how crowdfunded writers can stack up words in the millions in a single year. Before this weekend, we didn't think it was possible. This...this singular experience has completely redefined that notion for us. :) *big, wide grin*

And I would do this again. In a literal heartbeat. So much fun!
