As it is within the 8 o'clock hour here in Indiana (in the evening() and we had originally meant to post this yesterday...

We are holding a prompt call titled Aces and eights (8's)

This particular prompt call will be dealing with inything with risk involved. (And yes, this could include gambling)

This prompt call will run pretty much through the week )the intent is for it to end on either thursday or Friday, depending on the number of prompters.

I've always been taken with the Southern phrase "staring at it like a snake with a diamond ring in its mouth" for having mixed feelings about an opportunity that could be risky. Is the snake harmless or venomous? Is the ring real or fake? And there are so many situations like that.

Someone checking the odds before trying something new. Such as how likely am I to get Injured while trying a new sport? How much trouble does a specific facility cause before going there?

Something with a risky hobby? Perhaps rock climbing, since that is fun, but can be risky if doing it in nature as opposed to indoors with harnesses and safety equipment and such.
